Our cattery
Are you planning to go on vacation and looking for a place for your cat? Our cattery offers bright and cat-friendly rooms with wooden climbing frames. In addition, your cat will enjoy access to our secure outdoor enclosures on the roof. Needless to say, there is going to be plenty of petting as well as activity for your cat.
Cattery with a view of the zoo
We recommend booking early (at least 2–3 months in advance), particularly if you are planning on taking your vacation during the school holidays. In the low season, short-notice bookings are usually possible. However, the minimum stay is three nights.
Notice:
We can no longer accept any new bookings for the summer holidays. Our cattery is already fully booked in the time span between 11th July and 5th August 2024.
Conditions
We usually keep the cats in groups of no more than five animals. For this to be possible, the following conditions apply:
- socially compatible with other cats
- at least 6 months old and castrated
- good health condition
- regularly dewormed
- free of parasites
- all necessary vaccinations

Prices
The price for the cattery per cat/day totals CHF 25.00.
Entrance and departure days are charged as full days. The reservation, as well as the duration, are binding for both parties.
Cancellation policy
If you pick up your cat early, you will nonetheless owe the agreed price. The same applies in the case of no-shows unless we get a written cancellation at least 14 days before arrival.
Payment
Please note that the amount needs to be paid when checking in your cat. You can pay either in cash or by card. Payment on account is not possible.
Check-in and return of cats
For organizational reasons, cats can only be checked in and returned at the following times: Monday to Saturday from 10.00 to 12.00 and from 14.00 to 16.00. Unfortunately, we cannot accept or return cats on Sundays and public holidays.
