Different professions – one goal
In line with its bylaws, the Board of the Zurich Animal Protection Association currently comprises 8 members, elected to office for a duration of 3 years, with equated terms in office. The annual elections take place in May and are based on a ballot vote. Board mandates may also be delegated to the working committee that comprises 5 board members.
Dialogue on disciplines
Tried and tested experts from the fields of biology, veterinary medicine, agriculture, law, educational sciences, and banking manage our association. Such a composition allows for an interdisciplinary approach and far-sighted action. Moreover, dialogue and continuous critical scrutinizing of joint action are also important characteristics of our board members. The wellbeing of animals, however, is the central issue on which all decisions are based.
