Time and again, fur farmers attempt to trick consumers into believing that there is such a thing as animal-friendly fur production. This is no more than cheap propaganda. Fur-bearing animals are wild animals and require a lot of space. In fur farms, they are held under torturous circumstances and kept in much too small cages before being killed cruelly.

 

The Zurich Animal Protection Association endeavors to protect fur-bearing animals

The Association informs and sensitizes the public at large, so that everyone will know how the animal was once held and then killed before it provided the fur on a jacket collar or the lining in shoes. And that it is high time to begin thinking about alternatives. After all: a truly cool style requires fantasy and courage – but certainly not fur.
